Spring 2025 Carl Perkins CTE - Textbook Assistance 

CTE SUCCESS CENTER TEXTBOOK LOAN APPLICATION 

APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR  FALL 2024 - DUE 5pm on August 1st, 2024.

Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.  Students are responsible for notifying the CTE Success Center for any class schedule changes. Textbooks must be picked up and returned to the Success Center, located on the Navarro College Corsicana and Waxahachie Campus.

Textbooks are loaned out for one semester at a time. A new application will need to be completed each semester to request textbooks. A hold will be placed on your account for non-returned books. Students with holds will not be considered for new textbook loans, until the hold is cleared.

Navarro College students are responsible for purchasing access codes, kits, bundles, and textbooks that are not listed on the students schedule for the semester applying for textbook loans. 

All CTE Success Center Textbook awards are based on major, special population status and economic need.

If you are a LVN, RN or Bridge student, please fill out your book order request form for a PRINT ONLY BUNDLE!!

Carl Perkins is not able to award print and eBook bundles. 

In order to be eligible to receive textbooks loans or a book voucher; a student must be PELL eligible and meet one of the following Special/Unique Populations requirements:

• Individual from Economically Disadvantaged families, including foster children, and low-income youth and adults.
• Individual with Disabilities- (WE WILL VERIFY WITH NC's OFFICE OF DISABILITIES).
• Student with parent who is a member or in active duty with the Armed Forces.
• Youth who are in or have aged out of the foster care system.
• Single parent-Including single pregnant women
• Individual with limited English proficiency
• Out of work Individuals
• Individual with Disabilities
• Displaced homemaker
• Homeless Individuals
